Concrete Driveways
New construction, a driveway where there was only gravel, or a second lane for the second car. Built on a real base with the fall set so water leaves the slab.
Built to drain and last
The two things a new Orlando driveway has to get right are the base under it and where the rain goes. Everything else is finish.
Central Florida gets an afternoon storm most summer days, and a driveway is the biggest hard surface on most lots. If it is poured flat, water sits on it and under it. If it is poured with the fall toward the house, the garage floods. We set the grade so water moves to the street or a drain, every time.
Under the slab goes a compacted limestone base, because sand alone shifts. Then reinforcement, four inches of concrete for cars and more for trucks or boats, control joints cut on a plan so the inevitable shrinkage crack happens inside a joint where nobody sees it. It is not complicated. It just has to actually be done.

Why Orlando homeowners call C2
Four things you can hold us to, on this job and every one after it.
Licensed as a general contractor
C2 is a Florida certified general contractor. Permits, inspections and the paperwork a new driveway in Orlando actually needs are part of the job.
Base first, always
Compacted limestone under every slab we pour. It is the one thing that separates a driveway that lasts from one that cracks at the apron.
Itemized and fixed
Base, concrete, finish and permit on one written estimate. The number you approve is the number you pay.
Scheduled around the weather
We pour when the forecast lets us finish properly. A pour rushed ahead of a storm is how driveways end up with surface cracks.
Concrete Driveways by location
We provide concrete driveways across every area we serve in Central Florida.

Frequently asked questions
Common questions from Orlando homeowners.
What does a new concrete driveway cost in Orlando?
For a standard broom-finish driveway on a prepared base, Orlando pricing typically falls in the range of six to ten dollars per square foot. Stamped and decorative finishes run higher. A typical two-car driveway lands in the mid single-digit thousands. We quote the actual job, itemized, after a free on-site visit.
How thick should a driveway be?
Four inches of concrete over a compacted base is the standard for cars and SUVs, and it is what Florida code expects. If you park a boat trailer, an RV or a work truck on it, we go to five or six inches with heavier reinforcement. Thickness is cheap at pour time and impossible to add later.
Do I need a permit for a new driveway in Orlando?
Almost always, at minimum for the apron that meets the public street, and most HOAs want a drawing too. We handle the permit, the HOA submittal and the inspection as part of the job.
When can I drive on a new driveway?
Walk on it after a day or two, park a car on it after about a week, and keep heavy trucks off it for a month. Concrete keeps gaining strength for weeks. We tell you the exact dates when we finish, and we mean them.
What is the best time of year to pour a driveway in Central Florida?
November through March. The ground is drier, the afternoon storms are gone, and the concrete cures slowly and evenly instead of flashing off in ninety-degree heat. We pour year round, but a winter pour is the easiest one to get perfect.
