Concrete Driveway Repair
Cracked, lifting or sinking in one spot. We find out why before we touch it, then cut out the failed section and pour it back to match the rest.
Fix the cause, then the crack
A crack is a symptom. Patch it without finding out what moved and it comes back in a year, usually a little wider.
You can drive on a cracked driveway for the rest of your life. Nobody calls us because the car will not make it to the garage. They call because they have a nice house and the driveway is the first thing anyone sees, and one day they are done looking at it.
Most driveway cracks in Orlando come from one of three things: a base that was never compacted, water washing sand out from under one edge, or a tree root that has had twenty years to push up. We figure out which before we quote, because the fix for each is different and the price is too.
Diagnosis first
Ten minutes with a level and a probe tells us what moved and why.
- Settlement versus heave, measured not guessed
- Base and drainage checked at the failed edge
- Root survey where there are oaks nearby
- Honest call on repair versus replacement
- Written scope before any work starts
Section cut-out and repour
The standard fix for a slab that has failed in one area and is sound everywhere else.
- Failed section saw-cut on clean lines
- Old concrete and loose base removed
- Base rebuilt and compacted
- New concrete tied in and poured to match
- Joints placed so the next crack goes where we want it
Crack filling and sealing
For hairline and shrinkage cracks that are cosmetic rather than structural.
- Crack opened, cleaned and dried
- Flexible filler that moves with the slab
- Surface sealed to keep water out
- Stops the crack feeding on rain
- Honest advice when filling is not enough
Trip hazards and lifted edges
Where one slab sits higher than the next, usually at a joint or the apron.
- Lifted panel cut out and repoured level
- Settled panel raised or replaced
- Garage apron and street apron tie-ins
- Walkway and sidewalk joints
- Finished flush so nothing catches a toe
Why Orlando homeowners call C2
Four things you can hold us to, on this job and every one after it.
We find the why
A patch over a washed-out base lasts a season. We fix the base, the drainage or the root problem first, then the concrete.
Repair when repair is right
If one section failed and the rest is sound, you get a section. We do not sell a replacement to someone who needs a repair.
Matched, not patched
Finish, color and joint lines are matched to the existing slab. A good repair should be hard to find a year later.
Usually one visit
Once we have seen it and quoted it, most repairs are cut, poured and finished in a single day. The crew handles it start to finish.

Frequently asked questions
Common questions from Orlando homeowners.
How much does concrete driveway repair cost in Orlando?
A single section cut-out and repour on a residential driveway in Orlando typically runs from a few hundred dollars to around two thousand, depending on the size of the section and whether the base underneath needs rebuilding. Crack filling is less. We quote the actual driveway after a free on-site look, and the number we give you is the number you pay.
Can a cracked driveway be repaired, or does it need replacing?
If the cracking is in one area and the rest of the slab is level and sound, repair is the right call. If there are several wide cracks, the surface is spalling, and a corner has settled, the slab is usually at the end of its life and a repair just moves the problem. We tell you which one you have, and if it is a replacement we say so.
Why did my driveway crack in the first place?
In Central Florida it is almost always the base or a root. Driveways poured thin on bare sand with no compacted base settle unevenly, especially at the street where water runs. Live oak roots lift slabs from below. Occasionally it is a shrinkage crack from a pour that was finished too fast in summer heat, which is cosmetic. We tell you which one you have.
Will the repaired section match the rest of the driveway?
Closely, and it gets closer over the first year as the new concrete weathers. We match the finish, the color and the joint pattern. A brand new section next to a twenty-year-old slab is always a little lighter at first. If that bothers you, sealing the whole driveway afterward evens it out.
Do you repair driveways you did not pour?
Yes, and that is most of the repair work we do. We also repair walkways, patios, pool decks and slabs. If you can text us a photo of the damage, we can usually tell you over the phone whether it is a repair or a replacement before anyone drives out.
Ready to sort out your driveway repair?
Tell us what you have and we will give you a straight price and a start date, usually the same day you call. The on-site estimate is free.
